Cradle Songs, grabado en la primavera de 2006, no es, ni mucho menos el primer trabajo sonoro the The Wyrm, un artista multidisciplinar procedente de una de las ciudades-dormitorio de la periferia de Madrid. Se autodefine como "un fanático disfrazado de artista bajo el seudónimo de The Wyrm, el gusano que lo corrompe todo". Cobijado por "La cabeza" en anteriores ocasiones (fanzine "La Cisterna", "Komadreja Pa Tu Vieja"),en el 2002 entra en contacto y colabora con el proyecto "Plagiarism Is Art", el cual le marcará en los siguientes años, en los que experimentará con los sonidos intentando inquietar siempre al oyente mediante voces del pasado que nos recuerdan lo que somos, alaridos de enfermos mentales o psicofonías. "Cradle Songs" es una retorcida colección de canciones de cuna, samples distorsionados sobre ambientes oscuros, que nos sumen en amargos sueños en los que gruñidos de los profundos y terribles asesinatos se adueñan de nuestras pesadillas, de las que quizá algún escuchante no pueda des-pertar jamás...
